,,Measures to improve the waste management within the municipalities of Ruse, Tutrakan, Slivo Pole and Vetovo"

This project proposal will be implemented by the Municipality of Ruse / leading organization / and project partners - Tutrakan Municipality, Slivo Pole Municipality and Vetovo Municipality. The project envisages a study to identify specific patterns of consumption and trends in the generation of waste in the municipalities of Ruse, Tutrakan, Slivo Pole and Vetovo, which will be a source of important information for future waste management across the territory of the four municipalities. There will be 4 municipal schemes for recycling / waste sorting, which are: - schemes for waste sorting and recycling of waste through mobile centers; - schemes for waste sorting and recycling of construction waste; - schemes for waste sorting and recycling of waste in administrative buildings; - schemes for waste sorting and recycling of biodegradable waste through the purchase of equipment and containers for green and wood waste. 4 information campaigns will be conducted to promote the 4 schemes. They will be: - to raise awareness and promote waste sorting and recycling; - to raise awareness in connection with the waste sorting and recycling of construction waste; - to raise awareness in relation to waste sorting and recycling in administrative buildings; - to raise awareness of waste sorting and recycling through mobile centers. The project will be implemented with entirely own human resources, as the applicant and the partners have the necessary financial resources for the implementation of the project activities.
