"Integration of measures and activities for adaptation to climate changes"

The project proposal will be implemented by the Municipality of Dobrich in partnership with the municipalities of Dobrich, Krushari and the Norwegian partner GREENZONE AS having the necessary experience and expertise in this field. The project envisages the implementation of activities to increase the capacity of local authorities to develop and implement programs for adaptation to climate change, to introduce specific measures leading to direct reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The project proposal envisages conducting a three-day training of at least 20 municipal employees, representatives of the partners to increase their competence in the field of planning measures for mitigation and adaptation to climate change. Representatives of Norway involved in adaptation and climate change will be keynote speakers in the training It is also planned to carry out a three-day visit of 6 municipal experts in Norway to exchange experiences and good practices in the field of climate change. During the visit training forums will be held and various sites will be visited in which measures for adaptation and prevention to climate change are integrated. The implementation of the project envisages 3 innovative measures for mitigation of emissions and adaptation to climate change: - Delivery and installation of "Photovoltaic Solar Systems (PVSS)" on public buildings in the mu-ty of Dobrich; - Delivery and installation of PVSS of public buildings in the mu-ty of Dobrichka; - Delivery and installation of PVSS of public buildings in the mu-ty of Krushari; The implementation of the project envisages Development of planning documents in order to reduce gas emissions and adaptation to climate change. The results of the preparation of the plan will contribute to the creation of an environmental management system and the improvement of the ecological conditions in the municipality by limiting the harmful anthropogenic impacts and developing the ecological potential of the economy.
