The "Integrated Services Supporting Active Participation and Social Inclusion of Marginalized Communities on the Territory of Kameno Municipality" aims at development of sustainable and effective practices targeting marginalized communities on the territory of the Municipality which support their complete integration and empowerment in the decision making process at local level. Specific objectives of the project include: - establishment of a model for community-based work with socially vulnerable families, including Roma on the territory of Kameno Municipality; - improving access to integrated services for socially vulnerable and families at risk; - mobilizing local potential for partnership and collaboration with zero tolerance to discrimination; - building capacity for active participation and inclusion of Roma communities in the decision making process at local level; - creating local institutional and community culture supporting diversity and ethnic tolerance. The implementation strategy of the project is structured around several work packages: - project management and implementation; - providing conditions and sufficient infrastructure for community-based work - construction and equipment of a Centre for community work; - integrated services for vulnerable families; - building upon local capacities for participatory development and implementation of policies on integration and social inclusion; - actions promoting cultural diversity and overcoming stereotypes; - information and communication measures. The main target groups included in the project are the segregated Roma communities on the territory of the town of Kameno and those in the villages of Krastina and Svoboda.
