The Anti-Corruption Fund Foundation (ACF) is strongly committed to following rules and procedures guaranteeing the protection of personal data, drafted in accordance with the national and international legislation in the area of data protection. We strive to regularly improve our data protection mechanisms by keeping our rules up-to-date with technological progress (encryption, pseudonymization, etc.). In this regard, ACF collects and processes personal data legally and in good faith, and stores the data with care and in accordance with the principles of security and proportionality. We do not share data with third parties, except when this is required by the law or when you have voluntarily given your explicit consent.
Personal Data
E-mail addresses, contact numbers, names, addresses, and all other personal data of participants in our events, donors, individuals, reporting cases to us, as well as individuals, mentioned in reported cases, will only be processed internally for purposes of reaching back to you with feedback or to verify the information provided.
Your data will only be accessed by employees and collaborators of ACF in compliance with the ‘need-to-know’ principle, and will not be shared with any third parties. The names of the individuals mentioned in reported cases may be revealed upon publishing the case.
If you would like to be removed from our list of e-mail addresses, to which we send regular e-mails and/or newsletter, you can do that at any time by following the steps in the e-mails, or by contacting us at acf@acf.bg or at the following address: 71 Knyaz Boris I St, Floor 2, Sofia.
ACF does not illegally share e-mails or other personal data from its database with third parties, nor does it use them for marketing or commercial purposes. If you decide to be removed from the e-mail list, ACF will delete your e-mail address from its database.
Security of the Information
We use security tools, such as coding systems and access authorization systems in order to protect your information. The information we store is protected by firewall systems and can only be accessed by a limited number of ACF employees who have all signed non-disclosure forms.

Every natural person possesses the following rights with respect to their data, stored and processed by ACF:

2. the right to access their personal data;
3. the right to rectification;
4. the right to erasure;
5. the right to restrict processing;
6. the right to data portability;
7. the right to object to the processing of their personal data.
ACF does not make decisions solely based on automatic processing, which includes profiling of data subjects.
The right of data subjects to be informed is observed with the publishing of this document, which contains clear, concise, and easily accessible information regarding the processing of personal data.

The rights of data subjects are interpreted in accordance with the provisions of Chapter III of Regulation EU 2016/679 and the Personal Data Protection Act.
In case of a complaint related to the exercise of the abovestated rights, the data subject can request a re-examination of their case. If re-examination is denied, the data subject can appeal to the relevant controlling body – the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
